Re: Windows XP Re-installed - Runtime drivers
runtime drivers?
Just go to windows update, get the latest SP 3, and it should be in that.
If not, I guess you mean the redist. .dlls from MS? If so, which ones? DX? MSVC? .NET? there are lots of them.

Our Warzone 2100 is a stand alone game. It is no update for the retail version.

Yep. It turns out that most of the 1 GB of the original game was the cinematics and the other extras. 30 MB or so sounds about right for the game itself.manaze wrote: Are u telling me that i can play warzone just using the 30mb or so of information that u have on the site?

And even with the the FMVs we distribute soon, the whole game (with FMVs / Music) / installer will only have ~250 MiB, because the video codec we use (Theora) compresses way better than RPL back then. The base game without FMVs and music is only ~30 MiB.

Compresses "way better" in terms of file size. Quality, on the other hand...Kamaze wrote:And even with the the FMVs we distribute soon, the whole game (with FMVs / Music) / installer will only have ~250 MiB, because the video codec we use (Theora) compresses way better than RPL back then.
