Why no videos in Campaign?

I played this game at my mates place like way back and i really liked it. What was really awesome was the video + campaign//it tells a cool storyline. I have dual booted for both Ubuntu and Windows and tried but no videos...is there any ways to add the videos then? or watch it all on youtube or something

Can someone explain well how i put these videos to work in the Warzone 2100 or how i do to watch them?

If you ask Buggy or Giel very nicely (or alternatively, send me a bottle of Gin and I'll ask them on your behalf) for a build (.exe) of Warzone with FMV support you should be able to try it out right away.

Should be a case of installing Warzone, downloading the FMVs from Gna! (they are not finalised encoding/bitrate wise) and putting them in the right folder.

Please download http://download.gna.org/warzone/videos/ ... es_ogg.zip and unzip it to /base (so it will be \data\base\sequences/*.ogg ) Or it will not work (duh!). Note, do not do 'make install', I haven't added sequences/* to the zip process yet.

Where is this directory in windows? \data\base\sequences/*.ogg

Just run warzone via gdb ./src/warzone2100

And how do i run it via gba ./src/warzone2100?

That assumes that your compiling the code yourself.

Giel has put together two Windows builds of r6074 with FMV support and the FMVs included in the installer — a debug and a release build.

You can find them here: http://download.gna.org/warzone/snapsho ... -FMV5i.exe and http://download.gna.org/warzone/snapsho ... -FMV5i.exe. Both of them are 188MiB in size.
