Hey i believe this place could use a chat room...i believe ALOT of information could get passed along if their was somewhere on here where i could get some information alot quicker and more efficient...what do you think?

I guess it just depends on what time you check the IRC channel.
Most of the devs are from Europe... and most people who come to the channel only stay a few mins or so, and leave. Some even stay under one minute, since they don't get a response fast enough (for them).

well, then maybe their should be part-time mods there that could possibly assist "customers" (for lack of a better word) in finding out the bugs and neat stuff of warzone 2100. BTW i found out about the cheats thing, all i had to do on my computer to finally get the cheats to work was go to "my documents" click on "warzone 2100" then clicked on "config" then next to the word "debug mode=0" i changed it to "debug mode=1" and then i was able to turn the cheats on and use some of the cheat ^_^ not quite as difficult as it appeared in writing from you guys...i wish yaw were able to explain that alot simpler cause i just did

If you want to hang out in the IRC channel... that is OK by me. It gets lonely there sometimes.
As for being a mod in the IRC channel, I don't know who 'owns' the channel...and there really isn't a big need for having a higher access level than everyone else. Most people behave themselves.

Assuming Windows, the best one is probably X-Chat or mIRC.

I recommend you to use a qip infinium with irc module (there is also icq, & free qip protocols are available) http://qip.ru/en/
