Noob question...
Loving the game, it's great, I played the original back in the day and always thought it was a very underappreciated game. Now I've switched my computer to Linux I was dead pleased to find I could play this on it! However, I have a dumb n00b question, namely, how do I activate the cheats? I've read the FAQ on the subject but it's not very clear, apparently I need to find a config file but I can't seem to find it anywhere (I'm using Ubuntu 8.04). There's a whole lot about Command Line flags but I've no idea what they are or how to make them work. Anyone able to help?

Which version of warzone are you using ? I hope it isn't the really old one in the repo they got?Figaro123 wrote:Loving the game, it's great, I played the original back in the day and always thought it was a very underappreciated game. Anyway, after you specify the command line argument to enable cheats, (or edit the config file which is in ~/.warzone2100-2.1 (hidden from normal view)), you then hit the key combo to enable cheats/debug mode in game, and then type whatever cheat you want.
Just which part of the FAQ / wikki isn't clear about cheats?

Hmm, ok, I guess my confusion was more with my Ubuntu-n00bness than WZ - I found the config file, I needed to press Shift-H to reveal hidden files...
I knew how to activate the cheats once I've turned cheat mode on (Shift-BKSP and all that), just I'm not yet certain of how the file systems work in Linux.
Thanks v.much!
