Running extrememly slowly!!

MY computer isn't great, but it's well above the specs required for this game. But despite this, warzone is running like a painful slide show. My computer runs at 1ghz with 256k of ram. Why would this game run like crap!? Any help would be appreciated.

Which version are you using?And Jkdefrag and/or CCleaner might be useful,can happen with the fragmentation of files,and that sometimes causes also other trouble like unloadable savegames

version 2.0.10.0. Everything else seems to run pretty well, so I don't think I need to defrag yet

yeah actually I just got the latest drivers for it... seems like the game should run just fine

The short story of it is that the latest working version for ati rage users is 2.0.7 which you can find here: http://wiki.wz2100.net/Releases#Version_2.0.7

I had a similar problem some time ago. It had something to do with a wrong OpenGL setting. After switching back to the original OpenGL values that came with my Graphics driver Warzone ran fine for me.

Where did you see the specs required for this game at?

For the most part, the game runs like crap, if you have a crappy system, and or drivers.
You have 256K of RAM. If that really is the case, then O_O
The rage 128 is also a *very* old card, as has been mentioned. It doesn't support (or the drivers are carppy) something that the game engine is using, and that is why you have a slide-show type of effect, it is trying to draw all that by CPU power, not hardware accelerated via the gfx card.
