im a bit confused did you upgrade from wz 2100 1.x

That should be the problem. Try to make a shortcut again with the --cheat line on it and run it once.

it should look somthing like this you probably can just copy past "C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

edit: it looks like mine dosent have cheat in the shortcut anymore either but i can steal cheat so just hit shift + backspace then type your cheat or ctrl + o
