I think we should make sure we have update to wz about once a month to keep people interested to help build and maintain the community. for example many mods and open source games spends 4-5 years to create something and realize that eve one hates it. But they want to be professional but this can still be done by frequent updates. mods/games like cs, gmod had frequent updates and the first thing they do is get the basic game play down 1-2 maps 2-3 weapons and go from there to see what people want.
btw i think wz does a Farly good job at this
also main page updates weekly or at very lest monthly with progress reports screens and post updates on other sites like moddb rts sites and other constitly so more people here about this. This would help get the word not only to new players over time but would help former wz players that dont know whats going on come back (the cool thing is there is a small stream of veterans coming back) maby we could get some people here to become pr spreading the word people.
edit: spelling fixes

What is with that phrase, i go on newgrounds and find a vid of it... "All your base are belong to us", I see a major mess up in that sentence, is that it?..
And my opinion of this thread...
I agree, having a couple new weapons and maps doesn't seem too bad... Content over quality sometimes works... But apparently, in this generation, it's backwards...

Re: frequents updates
Before adding new weapons, the most important thing to do is to complete the balancing between units, IMO. About maps, that would be great, we already have a map editor so anyone could give a try with that.
About the giant OT, the "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" is a phrase coming from a sega game, Zero Wing. It looks like a Japanese guy translated to English and he came out with this messy phrase. He could've just said "We've got your bases", or something similar to it... Why did he wanted to make things complicated??
Google it if you want more infos
