Problems with video (using the installation from disc)
I managed to find the game after much searching....unfortunately, I install the game, go to play it, the opening sequence plays fine, the first mission loads fine....then the first in-mission sequence begins, an intel report or something, and it crashes. What might be wrong? I'm running windows XP service pack 2 in direct3d. I forget how to give the specific specs of my comp, will share them when I find that out. I know this is a question about the original game, but you seem to be the only group out there operating currently. Thank you for any aid you might supply.

Apparently, using compatibility mode caused the problem. After turning it off, the sequences work fine.
