*Hint: Even in Paint you can save in a smaller format like JPG or PNG, if you use the Save as... function.*

PNG is the best solution for pictures with large areas of the same color or gradients.
Example, the last picture consumes only ~80 KiB as PNG.

First, knowing how "Skillful" you are with computers, I'll try to explain myself.

That wasn't meant as bashing.
But it is annoying when our attachments folder gets blown up with ~3,5 MiB images, which could be stored with < 100 KiB as well.

By the way, i can't help you with this problem, since i never used WordEdit ;)

Hmm... I sound like a broken record, but read the tutorial, it shows you step by step on how to setup & what to do.

Read it, and read it again.  He does a good job explaining things, and even has pics of what can & can not be changed in the EW32 BETA.
