Double Weapon : Bug abus or graphical bug

Hey all :)

I'm new here, I have download the beta wz2100 resurrection since 4days. Yesterday, i have play a skirmish for see all modification in comparaison to the original game. After 5hours of intensive research, i have all weapons, all build, etc...

And I try to make à good and sexy tank with new Items in the design section. Then I rules am seen I can add 2 weapons on my unit :

I don't if it's really a bug, I can use that just with heavy body.
But if isn't a bug, there is a graphic bug : the secondary weapons are badly position. (in the python body, she is inside the body). And the secondary weapons aren't report in the description of the vehicle in the factory menu.


I'm sorry if this problem was already recalled, but I'm French, i do lost 3 or 4 minute for understand one line of this forum. Thanks to delete this topic if he is useless.

It is a known problem. Multiple weapons will most likely be disabled for release.

The main issue besides the gfx is that multiple turrets are not 100% working correctly all the time.

For the gfx issue, most, if not all the models need to be redone, and some weapon combos still need to be disabled.

I don't think anyone is helping with the models, so if you know anyone that can help...point them here :)

Realy? Will It be disabled in the 2.1 BETA 3?

Too many bugs in the code I think, and the devs aren't happy with it... Plus it looks as UGLY as sin...

So I guess until someone redoes the PIEs, and/or the devs have time to go through the code properly and design/decide how they want multi-turrets to work, we may have to say bye-bye for now to multi-turrets.  :( :'(  >:(

Don't make me cry, Verminus, it was the best feature in Warzone to me, multiturrets cannot die for me, but the mods maybe can fix their missing in the next release of the BETA 2.1

A mod wouldn't enable it, you would have to modify the source.

If someone steps up and fixes the gfx (models), then I am sure the multi-turret code will get a very big priority of being fixed.

Since all we need to do to disable it is to modify the .txt files, I think we should easily be able to allow mods to re-enable it.

Of course, later i'll modify the source of it.

One question:

Did the "warzone.wz" is the source of the game?

I've founded into of it lots of folders (e.g: stats) and files (body.txt, weapons.txt, etc) when i've oppened with the WinRAR (warzone.wz)

The warzone.wz has all the data files that the game uses.  mp.wz has all the multiplayer stuff that overrides the stuff in warzone.wz when you play a MP game.
