Any full devpkg for Warzone2.1beta2/MSVC80?

Post by yaoyansi »

Hi, all
i tried to compile Warzone2.1 on VS2005, but fail.
i downloaded the dependences package warzone2100-devpkg-2.1-msvc80-20080113.7z, but i find it lacks several .h files, png.h, glc.h, vorbis/vorbisfile.h and zlib.h. And i don't know which version of the header files the WarZone2100 2.1 uses.

so, could you give me a full dependences package for the development?
I think the full dependences package will save our a lot of time. Thank you.

warzone2100 has been taken over by quite a few linux hippies. ;)

as such, the source now requires several linux specific packages that were ported to windows.

most of them are here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=23617

You need flex and bison for sure out of that list if you don't have those already.

They should be in that package... afaik.
Anyways, the versions are listed below the package links there:

We all have the same heaven, but not the same horizon.

Buggy explicitly did not pack in everything. Only what he needed to compile himself, if I got that correctly.

Well, windows don't have a package manager, so you must manually get the files yourself.
Not that, that is hard, since I do provide the links.

http://download.gna.org/warzone/develop ... .1/msvc80/
and it ends here.
