Change the default retreat setting for new units?

When I build a new unit, its default setting is to retreat at heavy damage.  But it would be more fitting to my style of play if my units retreated at medium or even light damage.  Is there a setting or something I can do to make this the default?

sure is... right click on the factories. you will see a menu simular to the unit menu. any units built from that factory will have those settings set by default when they roll out.

you can assign factory production to a commander too (usefull).
