So the AI completely owns me now...
When I have two trucks, and I'm trying to get a factory built, an AI controlled truck will come onto my base and build oil derricks... by the time I can destroy them the AI is far ahead of me in research and production.
How do I get owned less like this?

You could try turn on just start with BASIC bases. Or you could build on the derracks first or memorise where the enemy come from and build a wall of machine gun towers as soon as you can build them

what map and tech level are you trying to play.
"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.

I dont want to start a new thread for this because it wont bug me to much if you cant, but is there any way that you can select what start location you start on a map. Im selecting an 8 player map (Sand Castle?) and I want to start in the very bottom right and corner so I can make a choke hold point on the AI. (see its sorta related to this topic)

yes... just choose the right number of the player and any color you want... not sure which one your wanting... so basicly try em all out to see which is right one.

This happens in SK rush T1.
If I could make machine gun towers I would, the problem is that I'm still trying to build my first factory with the trucks

Always go after oil ASAP. That should be your first priority.Ursa wrote: When I have two trucks, and I'm trying to get a factory built, an AI controlled truck will come onto my base and build oil derricks... by the time I can destroy them the AI is far ahead of me in research and production.

Ursa, not sure it will work, but try this:
Assign just 1 of your trucks to your factory.
Have your other truck patrol around your base, and have it "tap" each oil field. Don't actually fully build a derrick; just start one, so that the CPU can't put one there.
Then, bring your 2nd truck back to base to help finish factory (or build the next thing, if that's already done).
When they free up, you can then send your trucks around to complete work on the derricks.

Build oil derrick you look around whit 1 truck.
after build a factory.
in the factory build truck,
build your base (whit a lot of rechearch center).
take other oil derrick on the map, put defense and build unit.
If you have more oil derrick you can develop more techn than computer.
(Its fun to play 1 vs 1 compu at more hard and kill him in less than 10 min)

The best tactit is to mixted up the great tank, the little tank, the adav and the cyborg. And whit this army, doing great stratégie.
