Winter Team Tournament 2016

Hello.

Starting a new Tournament.
Rules are explained and detailed, but we do not have english translation for it, sorry

Rules in short:
1. All games are 2vs2 + spectators positions.
2. Only good players (Beginners not allowed). Note: All good players are well known by WZ multiplayer community.
3. Before match team can select 3 maps from set of 6 maps.
4. Maps: low-oil, middle-oil, high-oil
5. Participants should be registered at vk.com
6. Start conditions: no scavs, no bases, avd. power level.
7. Max game time: 60 min for low-oil, 90 mins for high-oil
8. Need minimum 4 teams.

Last day of teams registration: 10 february
Tournament start: 13 february

I'll ask Fenrir. I think 3.1.2 may be better, not sure.
As far I understand balance not changed in 3.1.3, So it is no matter what version.

Just a request:
1) When these games are played, would be nice to have a thread in this section viewforum.php?f=50 then, you can have live streams of the game(s) (via Twitch) or static ones if uploaded to YouTube. Streaming live shouldn't be an issue if you have one of the latest Nvidia or AMD video cards, they both have utilities you can stream with negligible performance loss for the host. NF-Cowboy does this now.

2) Correct, balance wasn't touched, however, there were modifications that stop cheaters.
For example, they could have made units that they shouldn't be able to make at a certain time,
or use better armor/guns before their research was done.

I refuse to register with vk.com because they make it mandatory to give out phone number in order to register.

Everything you do on that site is recorded, including every URL/link you click and then that information is connected with activity you have done on different websites to make one big virtual profile of all your Internet activity. It's called data aggregation.

Then companies like Acxiom sell those virtual profiles of you to advertisers, marketers, businesses, political campaigns, government etc... that's how business in the Internet works.

So...in this case we have a problem, because we need strong communication chanel with you. I hope you understand, that this is a challenge to organize 5-6 persons to play in one time. In vk.com are most of the participants, who can write admins of Tournament and each other. So, self-organization. If you dont want to be in vk? so please help us - give so many channels to communicate with you as u can. I promise, i dont sell this info

Warzone is played by a wide range of people, from surprisingly young children to old geezers. We want our community to be a place where they can all feel comfortable. We are quite serious about this.

There is a topic - viewforum.php?f=47 - Official Tournaments. This topic is closed since my last World Tournament in 2012 year. And i suppose it will be closed always. For what was it created?
