Reconnecting Players in LAN Games.

So I have this issue that consistently occurs when playing over LAN with only 2 people. A non-hosting player will suddenly and unexpectedly drop their connection or WZ will crash. This then, almost immediately, ends the game (ignore the fact that we've been playing for 20-30 minutes losing tons of progress :annoyed: ).

Is there a way to rejoin a player in a 2 player LAN game and continue where we left off? It's really frustrating to start over every time.

(Using 3.1.1 on a mac. Happens with both PC and Mac players).

On a LAN, that shouldn't happen. (Well, a crash could happen).
Without seeing the crash report, I have no idea what went wrong.

And no, at this time, we don't support rejoins or saving of MP games.

Well, in the most recent instance my opponents WZ was crashing. Usually it's a bad WiFi connection or something that is the cause.

No rejoining, eh? Lame! Not at the top of priority list?

It still shouldn't crash, that is why I need to see the crash reports to see why it crashed.

As for saving/loading MP games, it isn't about priority, it is about, that would call for a ton a work to be done, and we just don't have the manpower to do everything.

Before passing judgment, perhaps you would like to consider exactly what might be involved in implemented such a feature.

Yeah, I figure. Unfortunately, I just love the game, not so great in programming – otherwise I'd gladly contribute :)

@stiv – if you want to spell it out for me you're welcome to, I probably just won't understand any of it. Thanks for any work you've put into developing the game!
