As far as I understand things, all the original artwork can be used, as long as they are credited, and made available for other people to use/download as well.
(Of course, Jorzi and whomever else can license their stuff as they see fit)

If you use the original code in the new port, then, you can do that GPL exception thing.
If you use this project's code, then you can't use the GPL exception thing.

That is, if you are following the license stuff.
If you aren't, I am not sure it can be enforced, or by whom.

Tell me, can I use:
1.storyline
2. names (Nexus, Paradigm and other)
3. external similarities on 3D models ( I create new models)
don't have problem with you license.
We using other engine, create new scripts and all contents are new.
(we no copy content from Warzone 2100).
(sorry my bad English)

Only the original rights holders can give you any clear "yes" or "no" answers to those questions. We can only tell you how we think copyright works. But that is too complicated to survive google translate. So I am not sure how we can help you.

Pumpkin went under, and Eidos got sold off, so... no idea who would have control of the IP now, but, I am sure if you found out who bought Eidos, you would see they have no idea what the status is, if they even bother to answer you.
There is no e-mail address anymore.

All the models that WZ uses are pretty low poly, you would be better off getting a license from all the people making new content.

The story is fairly generic, and you could base it off of WZ's story.
Unit names are fairly generic as well.

That isn't what makes WZ, WZ IMO. It is all about game play & mechanics.

From what I have found, I believe Square Enix now owns the IP.

Well that basically writes off getting anything other than a 'no' if you even get anything at all.

So yeah, make a clone, but don't call it warzone, and you are safe.

Anyway, if you pm me with some emails and more information about the project, I can give you some models.
