Need a really Full Tech Tree?

Post by Spaceman »

The Tech tree of Warzone 2100 is massive, it really is. However there is no complete tech tree, there are one's built for the non-GPL version of Warzone (or the one release by Pumpkin Studio's way back). These don't include what happen's to each weapon after each upgrade. This would make balancing Warzone a hell of lot easier cause you know what happens if you change something about a weapon or body or propulsion, otherwise it's just guesswork. This would make a nice addition to the wiki.

This is probably more development than help, but I don't know if one exists. I would be happy to help build one.

Just check Lav's game guide and you'll find a complete graphical tech tree there, with full items specs

‎"to prepare for disaster is to invite it, to not prepare for disaster is a fools choice" -me (kim-lav_coyote25-metcalfe) - it used to be attributed to unknown - but adding the last bit , it now makes sense.

Yes, I've seen that one before. However when I talk about a really full tech tree I want a bit more. Mainly what do all the upgrades do to those weapons, they the unupgraded versions of the weapons. Surely their have been changes since that was made, it contains the twin cannon which was part of the 1.11 patch (that also contained the flying truck).

So if I wanted to change the damage of weapon, I would want to know what it damage would be after it's fully upgraded and so on. This is what I mean when I say otherwise it is just guess work.
