Update from 3.1.0 to 3.1.1?

Update from 3.1.0 to 3.1.1?
I've Installed 3.1.1 and i opened the desktop file in the folder but it opened the 3.1.0 version. Am i supposed to delete the old files and will it delete my saves?

You can have as many versions installed as you want.
Obviously, you need a new shortcut for each program though, since it sounds like you only have the 1 for the 3.1.0 version.
