Campaign 3
Is it me, or are the enemies completely outclassing my weaponry/armor? They are in relatively few hits taking out most of my vehicles. The only reason I won the first mission is because I used thermite bombs to level the place. This second one seems much more difficult, and I thought the first was tough.

Yep. You'll be out-maneuvered and out-gunned throughout the rest of the game.

after a few missions, you'll start to adequately catch up in tech enough to make a dent

Well it really helps to build up your long range defense up in the time you are given. Say if you have a 2 hour mission use that full 2 hours to build more ARTTY, it will pay off in the end, and also CB Towers, lost of them.

I've created "something that kills people." And in that purpose, I was a success. I've done this because, philosophically, I'm sympathetic to your aim. I can tell you, with no ego, this is my finest sword. If, on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut.......Hattori Hanzo

Re: Campaign 3
defend the lz with your tanks, while one truck builds a repair station then AA.
have another put arty emplacments(bout 10) at the back of the lz followed by a cb tower, once you have all the enemy arty killed, then build sensor towers bunkers etc west of the lz, then continue building sensor towers along the north of the map.
also, you loose all the u8nits you send on this mission until mission 6(i think) when you get most of them back.

Re: Campaign 3
If you were careful enough during Cam1 and 2 to get a highly ranked commander with a few highly ranked units, then they will go a long way.
Otherwise you'll be spamming tanks like crazy. The only time I've ever really been forced to use Artillery is on the last mission, which is an absolute pain.
