Scrap metal
I was thinking when a unit or structure gets destroyed they just turn into a pile of scrap for the dump truck can pick up for power. Like how Supreme Commander and BattleZone did it when units or building are destroyed.

Let's take an example, current tank Abrams M1, price is 6mln, weight is about 60 tons, iron ore price is about 170$ per ton.
So, you would get 0.17% of it price back. Even as pure metal, you will get about 2-3 times more. Do you think it does worth it?
