After a longer time I wanted to play Warzone again and I saw that you released version 3.1.1 recently.
So I downloaded it (over the download-button on the main page) but while installing the game my anti-virus program "G Data TotalProtection 2014" tells me it is a probable dangerous program and recommends to not install but delete it.
I didn't change any settings in G Data, it is reporting Warzone 3.1.1.exe by standard settings.

Hi, that is a false positive.
All Windows builds are built on the cross-compiler, and they never touch an actual windows machine, so, no chance for a virus to infect anything.
You can go ahead, and send them the file to fix their virus scanner.

I used to play version 2.3.9 months ago, and just downloaded the last update 3.1.1 a few days ago to play this awesome game again.
One post says that there arent any issues. But unfortunately, i need to disagree:
With 2.3.9, if a tanks path was blocked by other tanks, it somehow tried really hard to get where i was telling him. Now with 3.1.1 the tank is just turning around to the left and right not moving.
Yes, there are many great improvements, but this single one - and only this one - really bugs me.
I recently (less than 4 months) started playing WZ2100 3.1 rc 2 build march 20 2014 for Linux but would like to be able to play multi player with windows players. Any way to get 3.1.1 ported to linux? or am i confused

I think you are confused, you didn't see the link 3 posts above yours ?
With that, you can install right away.. or compile it, like Berg said.
You don't say what distro you have either.
/facepalm ...Grinch stole Warzone contra principia negantem non est disputandum Super busy, don't expect a timely reply back.
tried that post above and got 3.1 rc 2 again ... so compiling it myself looks to be the only option never done that before. as for the distro it's LinuxMint 17 cinnamon 64bit. works with most ubuntu softwares.
Edit: After posting I tried the compiling option - worked like a charm - thanks for all the help
