Help with hosting

Hello all,

I've recently been playing warzone2100 alot lately, and wanted to play with my brother. I tried to host it, and got the error saying port 2100 needed to be open. So i opened it on the router as well as my computer, and it still says the check failed. I tried DMZing the computer, but it still didn't work. Any ideas? If you need screenshots i can supply them.

Are you on a LAN ?
If so, just have your bro connect to your LAN IP of the host machine.
If not on a LAN, and you're sure that you have port 2100 open for hosting and enabled in your firewall rules & router, and the game don't detect it, then, I would need you to run the game again with --debug=net and then host a game, and then post logs.

We are playing over lan, but whenever he tries to connect it sends him to the lobby screen.

So, you start a multiplayer game, set everything up, and then hit the start hosting button...
Your bro goes to multiplayer game, join via IP and types in the LAN IP, (NOT the external IP) and it goes to lobby screen ?
I would need to see his logs.
