Can't get cheat mode

Sounds like some kind of buffer overflow protection gone nuts. You might want to try & disable whatever piece of software that attempts to prevent buffer overflows with warzone.

I have no clue of any software doing that on my machine, do you know any?

I remember reading about some kind of "security" library which does this kind of stuff some time ago. Not sure how it's called though. It might just as well be an entirely different problem though.

i've got the same report of text chat crazyness reported by another user.. one char overwrites another making it impossible to enter a cheat, chat or other. and the console doesnt appear when it is called either

haven't tried newer versions but there was nothing detailed in the changelog to lead me to believe this has been fixed.

So I changed my old 2.0.6 to the new 2.0.10 and now when I press [SHIFT]+[BACKSPACE] it just says "All items made available"...this isn't what I used to get, before this button combination enabled "god mode" a.k.a "debug" and I could put a Scourge Tower in the middle of the enemy base. Why was this changed, I can't cock about anywhere near as much as I used to ^_^

I've tried editing the shortcut etc and , embarassing enuf, not having any luck in getting the cheat mode to work....and I've notice on my system that WZ isn't showing as running in direct3d mode......help ??

D3D?  You must be playing v1.1 of the game.  The talk above is all about 2.0.x version of the game.

im using V 2.0.10 and i have this in my properties box

"C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe"  --mod_mp NTW_Mod_v1.4.wz --cheat

(note you dont need this part --mod_mp NTW_Mod_v1.4.wz )

so basicly all you need to do assuming your running windows XP is this "C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe" --cheat

my game is full screen by default and i dont care about the resolution as it works perfect in every way for me

i have a problem...i dont know if this is the right place....on the campaign 1, i think miss. 6 (the one when u "conquer" all the starting map, the game doesn't end....this means i am not doing something right (but i dont know what exactly - i've researched the module for research center,i've upgraded all of them, build defence around that area, but nothing happens)...the idea is that i've tryed with cheats ("hallo mein schatz" - to get me to next mission but that doesn't work)...i think the cheats were enable correctly (i've read the previous pages, and some of them work....but not this one)...any ideas ?? (i am only interrested to go to next mission, not to cheat anyway)

problem solved.....cheats didnt worked (but anyway that was not my interrest)...can u imagine i forgot to destroy the northest scavenger outpost ???..neither do I )))))))
