Should be able to. If you have compiled the game yourself, you can run it out of the source tree by simply doing ./src/warzone2100 . No install needed (and yes, that is linux-centric. Your mileage may vary)

On windows, get the portable release that we offer.
That is meant to be played from a USB flash drive, or whatever else. It is self contained.
