They are so much of a problem: they are hard to see on enemy side, and with our variety of armors and modifiers it's easy to accidentally have some upgrades overpowered.
It'd be much easier if we just added a new weapon or new body or new cyborg (not necessarily cyborg body, we can still control hp via their weapon hp) whenever we want to let one of the lines get stronger.
Just thinking around an upgrade-less research tree might be quite fun.
Hey this was my idea
I think upgrades needed for more fun for players.
They make tanks stronger and see what happen

Many upgrades makes units stronger without any visual effects.
Invisible upgrades are most important in strategy in Warzone. Power of units grows very fast in early game.
These invisible upgrades also have very low price. You can make your whole army +30% stronger for 100-200$
I'm trying to say: invisible upgrades is good thing but we need more visible upgrades.
For example: when you getting medium cannon - it is visible upgrade, because your tanks produces with another turret model.
my solution: increase price of invisible upgrades +500% and reduce impact of these upgrades
Yeah. I just took it to extreme. Not increase price and decrease impact, but decrease number. Maybe not completely eliminate, but introduce them one by one only when its really necessary.
upgrades are perceptible in warzone. It take a bit more time than to just look at the weapon, but if you pay attention those 30% upgrades can be easily accessed.
you should be ready to attack even if he have the upgrades. It's the kind of stuff we usually get.
Of course, I ignore the first few upgrades (which are terribly too efficient), because they are fixable otherwise. And I ignore the DPS increase of 3.1 and 3.2 because it gonna need a fix anyay.
