I can not Esc to save the game

While playing the game, my Esc button does not work, so I can't save the game. - there is nothing wrong with my keyboard.

I have Windows XP SP3. My keyboard: Microsoft wired keyboard 500 v1.0

I'm playing the latest version of game nl - 3.1.0.

Let me know if you need more info, or if I'm missing something.

Reset your keymap by clicking on the trashcan icon a few times in the settings menu, and see if that helps.

I tried your suggestion, but unfortunately it didn't help. Still can't Esc. to save the game. My Esc. button does work with other applications. Please help.

That is odd.
Run the game with --debug=input and then enter a game and hit the "1" key first, then hit "ESC" a few times and "q","a","z", then exit out (Alt-f4).
Then post the logs here.

Create a shortcut to the game, and then in the target box add --debug=input
For example, if it says "c:\path\to\warzone" change it to "c:\path\to\warzone" --debug=input

Ok I did that, but don't know where to find the logs to post. What would the name of the log file be or location (couldn't find any in warzone path).

PS. Alt-F4 does not exit the game, but maybe it's not suppose to.

I've pressed the Esc. button a couple of times, but I see it doesn't show in the log file...

What kind of machine is this ?
According to logs, you never pressed any ESC key... My only guess is that something else is monitoring that key for some reason, and not passing it to the game.

We can't do anything about this, since we just ask the OS routines what keys are being pressed when the game is active.

Turns out that an application that is always running in my tray did it. Closing all the apps one by one resulted in me finding the culprit.
