Yes, I knew the silencer will remind you what it had reminded me at first I have seen it ;)

Even if for exercises only, if the frame below was camuflaged too. And placed for example on a hill in woods, or just in woods.

It might be used well in some situations.

The joke about what their friends call the group in army is funny too :)

The time may be ripe for a comedic WZ mod. :hmm: Using the toon art, natch. They say doing comedy sucessfully is more difficult to pull off than drama. How could it be done to transcend fleeting novelty and have compelling replay value ? That would be the heart of it.

:)

There is one thing that will stop, or at least slow down tanks. Those are anti tank ditches. It is simply a very deep dith diggeg on the front line which is impassable for tanks.

But even for those a very simple and cool idea was invented.

A fast vehicle heavily armored in front, with a loading platform at the back, filled with! big and small pipes made of something that will withstand the weight of a tank. The vehicle approach the ditch, and via two arms within minute loads the packs of pipes into the ditch. Two or three loads, and the vechicle itsalf is redy to cross the ditch, it moves aside, at least one tank protect it moving after it through the ditch. And our armoured vechicle moves toward another ditch.

The idea is so simple :) I hope I explained it well enough ;)

This tank looks both impressive and unbalanced :)

Also loading it takes longer I assume ;) and would it not turn upside down if fired all the cannons at once? ;)

While it would certainly have impressive firepower, the extreme mounting of cannons would probably make it expensive, unreliable and vulnerable. Accuracy would also suffer from the off-center recoil forces and it wouldn't be able to hit the same spot twice.
A simple mlrs system would probably have as much firepower and be cheaper.

The main things that make a howizer preferable to missile artillery is accuracy as well as cheaper, smaller ammunition which is harder to intercept in mid-air.
