Re: Tank catapult
.
Now if persistent wreckage is implemented, I can see were this could be an effective scav weap against borgs, at least (might even be able to the extant blood splat anim for 'em). Not to mention a new GPM to account for wreckage harvesting opportunities.

It's actually a tilt table, I guess they need them to test the balance and whatnot... took me a while to find that out

The German tank didn't need pipes on its exhaust. I imagine the Russian tank would splutter and stall if it didn't have the exhaust pipes.

It's not an exhaust pipes, it's used to grab air into the tank.aubergine wrote:The German tank didn't need pipes on its exhaust. I imagine the Russian tank would splutter and stall if it didn't have the exhaust pipes.

With all the respect Sir
that was also the first thing that came to my mind and I was certain someone soon will type it
I was really surprised about existence of silencers for tanks.

What? So you mean it's actually built to be used in warfare and not just an elaborate genitalia joke?

Re: Tank catapult
lol, I read somewhere that the Germans developed these tank silencers to appease residents that live close by to the testing range. Apparently the residents were complaining about the noise from the tanks test firing... so they are not really used in warfare, more for peacefare... In regards to it looking like a giant phallus, I bet the guys on the base had some colorful nicknames for itJorzi wrote:What?
