Cheat mode and skirmish mode

I just downloaded Warzone a few weeks ago from the Software center on Ubuntu Linux and found a few problems

1. Cheat Mode: I had Warzone about a year ago and the cheat mode work fine, now when I put it back on my computer cheat mode doesn't work at all, I did everything that enables cheat mode nothing works, no message appears, nothing at all. Im at a point in singleplayer mode where I could use the extra boost

2. Skirmish mode: When I set all the options and click start the game crashes

To enable the cheat mode, press SHIFT + BACKSPACE during play. After that press RETURN to enter the chat line. Now input the cheat you like to activate.

I play version 2.2.4-3 thats the latest version on the Ubuntu Software Center

download the latest version from the download page here and compile it
that’s best Ubuntu software centre is so out of date.http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/Download
