So do you mean that in this PC drive feature, you can look in a different direction from where your vehicle is heading?

* You can go from "Drive" to "Battle" overview modes at the press of a button.

* In "Drive" mode you get a list iteration of all available targets to select from..... or you can allow an  auto mode. If your "Piloting" a commander unit leading a combat group.... well you can see the possiblities.

* Roadmap....right now it's looking like this version of "Drive" will make our first release in the near future... this version is limited to ground units.

* We are hoping that in our 2nd to 3rd release we can include the "Enhanced Piloting" that will make possible for the 1st time ever Wz VTOL Dogfighting !.... (Pumpkin left unfinished but we will complete)...among other trick enhancements. :D

* There's a bunch of specific details on our site about this & everthing else which will go live soon - before our first release & you'll see for yourself (screens, art, so forth).

how are flight ceilings going to be done?

EDIT: This odd Vtol behavior is something I've been studying for a while.

* I cannot think of any maps that are  available that are built on principles of "Extreme Verticality" (3+ height).

* I make use of this in my unrleased maps so I have noted Vtols behaviour in dealing with violations of the absolute ceiling....

* Basically the behavior parallels the "TA" 'Brawler' Chopper Gunship..... and you know what that means....

* "Bugs are your friend"..... not infrequently they lead to epiphanies & HOW to implement desirable "Future Features"..... ;)

OMG finally! this is not good news, this is GREAT news! i've been waiting this moment for a long time...  ;D

btw, who's "your leader" who implemented this feature??

I'm happy to hear as well this feature is being worked on.
I understand it could take awhile before any stable version with this is out, but it's worth waiting for.

When in drive mode, will you have control over your vehicle's weapon turret(s) directly and be able to fire manually at a keypress in any foreseeable versions in the future?

In the psx version, you didnt directly control the turret. It aimed automatically at a target, which you could select with the left or right key

I remember that, but apparently the PC version's drive mode is different and what I was asking about was more of a possible future feature, like that of the battlezone games from the same time as warzone. Being able to manually control the weapon systems in addition to manually driving at some point would be alot of fun, I was just wondering if it was anywhere on the visible horizon.

* We are in MP trials right now and so far so good. :)

* The 3 things that have to be rock-solid for the 1st release are: SP Cam, MP & brand New Map Editor (& all its New GFX resources).... we're close on all those fronts.

* Yes.

* The site is not open yet but here is our addy:

* The site will open soon.... matter of weeks now.

* Work began on the source soon after its liberation. We donot utilize anything from the WRP code base. We took a different dev approach. I guess they call it "Cathedral" whereas the "WRP" is called "Bazaar". Our operational model is a RL Game Studio.
