Campaign 4 is now working on RC_3 and Legacy. Get it while it's fresh from the oven!

I'm a happy guy. :D

I'm experiencing crashes when building any kind of Module (Factory, Power, etc) on 3.1 and Windows. One of those 'divide by zero' crashes. Hopefully it's just my graphics driver ...

Anyone else experiencing these crashes? Report it here.

And apparently it's not working at ALL on 3.1 - Linux.

I've pulled the download for 3.1 and Legacy due to some rather extreme issues seemingly beyond my control. Sorry for this.

Post the Legacy gamelog to me, and the 3.1 log to the 3.1 devs.

Already had a chat today with Per. At this point there are so many issues with it that it was best to pull the download for the time being. The same issues affecting it on 3.1_RC3 also apply to Legacy -- at least on Linux systems.

Windows systems get a crash when building any module at all (Factory, Power, etc) so I'm considering Cam 4 on 3.1 and Legacy 'unusable' at this point. I'll PM you with the info you need, Bendib.

Emm, could you remind me how to install the mod for 2.3.9?

When i install it as campaign mod, i get no texture in wrf for radarsensor.pie (and then more errors when i try to fix it) at campaign start:

Code: Select all

error |08:45:00: [iV_GetTexture] This error probably means you did not specify this texture to be preloaded in the appropriate wrf files before referencing it in some pie file

When i throw it to autoload or to global, i get this at game start

I remember there was some trick like throw into the game's folder?...

Remember my proof of concept getting that dataset into Cam 1 some months back? I still have all of those files.

mod_ca has NEVER worked. *ever*.

If you're on Linux, and compile 2.3.9 yourself, put it in /share/warzone2100/mods/autoload (if you use the same folder that you compile from, put it in /data/mods/autoload instead).

For windows, use Program Files/warzone2100-2.3.9/mods/autoload. Adjust for Program Files(x86) for 64-bit installs. Vista on up will need to run the game in Windows XP compat mode and as Administrator.

There's going to be another release soon -- for 3.1_RC3 Warzone. I've fixed the issue from yesterday that forced me to pull the download -- and I've also taught the Scavengers what "hardcore" is all about. See this thread and this thread for details. :D

The 3.1_RC3 build is now working again, and this time it's using Contingency 0.74 and USM as a base. This will be a "new launching point" for Campaign 4 due to the expanded possibilities and flexibility offered. Get it while it's soft and buttery!

Well worthwhile integration, no doubt. Look forward to checking it out this weekend while its soft and buttery like a freshly baked croissant. :3

You'll like it even better when I commit this next version. It'll be a milestone release for a couple of reasons:

- We're using .JS now! (that's a big deal, for me :lol2: )
- Sgt. Gibbs and Sgt. Wilkes have some better gear with which to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies (and are TRULY "Hero Units" now). This will also mark the re-introduction of some technology from my old Devastator mod from 2001 that had sat quietly packed away in a warehouse corner ... :D
- Couple of small map fixes
