How to remove lagged out players in MP

It happens time and time again. You host a 10 player game, you spend 15 minutes getting people to join, you then host the game play for like 20 minutes and then some fool lags out and the game freezes for everyone. No one happy with losing 30 odd minutes from their life for nothing...

So I ask is there a way to kick a lagged out player from a game is underway? I know you can before starting the game, but I can't see how to do it after the game has started.

in the intelligence menu (where you can give units). Hold the right button on the phone icon and while holding press the left button. (or just press both button a couple of time).
