This is the exact idea structure that I had when I researched into this...
I've been having some trouble upgrading from the 2.3.9 client of Warzone 2100, and I've noticed that the only issue I have with the new release, is the popup that appears whenever I start the client. (It irritates me to an extent)
It also writes the logs as coded in "../lib/ivis_opengl/screen.cpp"
Well I wanted to delete the script that writes the logs and shows the popup, so that way it will notice the errors, but it won't notify me about them; instead, it will just pass on by like normal, and I'll just leave the Shaders to those with a graphics card better than my Intel 945G Chipset (E-Machines T3612)
I was wondering, since I am not very adept with C++ language, and that I have resources to deal with the .cpp coding (Visual Studio C++ Professional 2006) and I've already downloaded the latest source code for 3.1_rc3.
Overall, I was wondering if I've missed a file, or if I may end up with an error message.
And since I can't get assistance on compiling the source code on my Windows OS, I was wondering if there was a way to turn it into a modification, that can be removed when necessary. If that's not possible, then what do I do with the "../lib/ivis_opengl/screen.cpp" file?
