White Areas
First, excuse my english, I'm french (using google translation).
Hello,
I would like to know how to solve my problem: I'm running mac, and all my cards, I have a lot of areas of white textures. This applies only to the terrain textures. I use the latest version of warzone.
Thank you for your answers.
Antoine

Re: White Areas
I used to have this problem on a Mac - I had to update the graphic card drivers, but I can't remember where I downloaded them from :s I will try and find out.
What version of Mac OS X are you using? Also, what type of Mac are you on and what graphics card does it have?

Google translate do not make a so much good work. You should always consider adding your text in it original state. We never know, maybe that in the most unexpected places someone might know the two langage and correct the errors that could happen...
Google trad. (just for fun)

Re: White Areas
You may be using some broken map or installed some broken mod, please report which of these are you using.

Re: White Areas
It's not a broken map/mod, it's the graphics drivers. It looks like the exact same problem I had with my 13" Macbook Pro, but I found updated drivers about a year ago and they solved the problem.
I've got the same graphics card, etc., but my ROM Revision is 3427 - it fixes the grey terrain bug.
It seems NVIDIA no longer provide the driver update for Mac OS X 10.5.8, so unless you can find that online the easiest solution would be to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
I'm searching through some of my old posts and will try and find where I got the driver update from.

For future reference it's also mentioned on the Downloads page: http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/Download#NoteforOSX
EDIT: Seems like the download is no longer available but try a google search (search link below) and please post link if you find it: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=nvidi ... e&ie=UTF-8

Re: White Areas
The only option then seems to be to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6.x or 10.7.x (I hear 10.6.x is a bit better for older Macs than 10.7.x). From what I hear 10.6 and above has the new driver as standard and that's probably why there aren't any downloads available for it any more :s
If I knew what files there were I'd try and recreate it. Hmmm, let me see if I have it cached in a download folder somewhere....
EDIT: No, sorry, I no longer have the installer, must have deleted it after installing it
