Hi,
I would like to know if its possible to create new "keymapping selections".
This keys would select combat units based on each branch of the research tree.
For example:
All mg's in the tree branch research.
All flames -------------//--------------.
All cannons -----------//---------------.
All rockets, lancers and so on --------.

Maybe, though keep in mind that not all weapons of an individual weapon line may be designed to be strong against a single group of targets. For example, the rockets/missiles line not only contains weapons that are designed to be effective against tanks (such as Mini-Rocket Pods and Lancers), but they also contain various artillery weapons (like Mini-Rocket Arrays and Ripple Rockets), anti-air weapons (like Sunburst AA and Vindicator Missiles), and a single anti-structure weapon (the Bunker Buster). Also, keep in mind that different weapons of a single line may be designed with vastly different ranges in mind (like how Ripple Rockets were designed to be long-range artillery, while Mini-Rocket Arrays were designed for shorter range).
Maybe we could instead (or in addition) have hotkeys that select all units that deal a certain type of damage, like, say:
1. for all units that deal anti-personnel damage
2. for all units that deal all-rounder damage
3. for all units that deal anti-tank damage
4. for all units that deal flamer damage
5. for all units that deal artillery damage
6. for all units that deal anti-structure damage
7. in addition, there could be a hotkey to select all units with anti-air weapons (like Hurricane AA or Vindicator Missiles)
