Any idea is good, but it would be nice if they implement at least few new "basic ones"

As I said :) it would be cool.

For example 1000 destroyed structures, 1000 games played :) finishing campaign 7 times. Destroying 300 Scavenger structures. Using all colours of player in multiplayer :) Hosting 222 games. Spending 100 hours in lobby. 500 hours in multiplayer games. Making allies 20 times.

I've proposed something a bit similar (kind of achievements) long time ago for campaign (for example for those who hadn't unit losses, successfully ended missions much earlier etc.) but due to wrong wording it ended up as mess (someone misinterpreted it probably and posted unrelated answers...).

Not being a rage quitter in a multiplayer game should be considered an achievement. I remember a time when there were no rage quitters. Open games are being ruined with players that quit as soon as the enemy reach their base, they give up the fight and abandon their team, this happens in the majority of open games and is often the deciding factor if the game is won or lost. A player can still be an asset to their team even if they lost their base. The proper time to leave a game is when we see the victory or defeat. An achievement rank for not quitting would be informative to other players and hosts.

BunkerBlaster yes I agree.. in my great times when not only I was making my maps but also I was playing warzone all the time, hundreds of games were destroyed, or finished, due to numerous quiters.. sometimes we prepared great room of players, to find out that one of them do not like the map.. ... ... and quit in ten seconds..

I think the achievement, or badge, should be rather like "fights to the end" a player who did not quit for example more than five times in one hundred games.

Because anything may happen, I remember a great game, it was 3v3 and I was I assume the worst player, but among friends from IRC and at exact momen when of coure my base was attacked as first one.. electricity in my house went off for a second. When I turned my pc on, and logged onto IRC again I was afraid I will be called quiter, I explayined the situation, and all was ok, I was even told I remember "mero it is only a game" :) but the timing of black out was in a terrible moment for me.

I also suggested badges given by community in special pols, where for example peope vote weekly for the most kind, organised, messy host of the week :)

The "quitter star" is already implemented in my build since 2.3.8 . The patch is already in the developper ticket's they just don't mind enough to implement it...
Heretic 2.3 improver and proud of it.

Hehe, I did not know, very nice Ilu :3 but I think it should not be a star, rather piece of coal, dead cat, stinky poo, something that would correspond bad feelings. I think we can have stars ;) that would like to obtain the star ;)

»Not being a rage quitter in a multiplayer game should be considered an achievement.« —Bunker Blaster

Unfortunately, Bunker Blaster is right. As a relatively new commander frequently entering the lobby since a few months,
I learned to hate rage quitters (amongst quitting allies), especially because I am contingent on them (my surf stick does not allow port forwarding).

Excuse my disknowledge on the rules the .sta files are generated by.
1. Is my apprehension correct that medals can not be lost when they were won at one time?
2. Would it be possible to introduce a rule to count a quit (no matter what reason) as a lose?
3. How about seperating medals and stars for skirmish and multiplayer?

Especially the first question may matter a lot. Including all contingencies that influence win and loss of a mp game,
it seems very hard for me to win 8 of 9 games constantly. However, I have been member in games where 6 of 8 players owned the highest possible rank.
Only using simple mathematics, so many players with high medals as nowadays in the lobby are impossible.

All in all, i hold fixing some immediate issues the superior way compared to introducing even more ranks as f.ex. platin medals and stars.
