Hello Gentlemen :)

I have a suggestion of an optional indicator that would tell us..

On how big map we are going to play, or mianly, on how big map we are playing at the moment.

I know many do not know how much "a tile" on a map is, I have invented extremely easy scale,

One tile = On truck standing on area.

Now if we have this indicator saying 120x120, or anything, we will know on how big map we are on, so how to ajust to it. I know it still may mean nothing to most, but yet, with time I assume, a player if he sees, 100x100, then 145x145, with time will authomatically know what is it about, and what it correspond to.

So far many I assume know that if big, melted preview, with big colour map is visible on a preview, it is a very small map, and if all is small it is big, but how big?

Just me and my ideas :3

That's more or less correct. One pixel on the map radar coresponds to one tile on the actual map. Bunkers/emplacements/hardpoints occupy 1x1 tile of space.

yep a viper measure 67.62 and a tile measure 128. You can easily fit 3 vipers in a tile.

I guess the best measure for a tile is a rearming pad...

O.o what rearming pad is? vtol one? I think each player should be easily provided with the scale, then a truck would be perfect, because if an ultra beginner starts the game, it will be first thing he will see for quite a time mainly ;)

1 tile = 1.892 vipers

That's why I say, telling the players a tile is the square in the structures grid is much more accurate.

ok, then which structure to chose? and why structure better than truck?

Because the truck hitbox is round and they readily accept to move on the same tile during the game. And because the viper size would be a new and strange unit not at all egal to 1 tile.

While all structure stick to the grid so everybody can see it.

BTW, it's a good idea to have an indicator of size on the map preview or something :) .

Exactly! I have forgotten about that fact. For example nicely at the corner of the preview 222x222 thank you, problem solved. Maybe N, S, W, E would be essential too? a smart mind may already plan what to do, seeing the preview :hmm: for example 50x222, abd he already knows he sends one truck in the middle seeing nice hill there.
