Re: Unforgettable Games That You Have Ever Played
sounds really interesting, so you cannot kill enemies there at all? only evading yes? I remember Vampire Hunter D game on PSC one, I did not manage to finish the game, I got consused at what I was to do in the very big castle after a long time playing of the game.

I have finished Dragon Age 2, 71 hours of playing..
I did all the side quests, and all the character quests, and had quite armored and equipped party
I like the game very much and I recommend it

Re: Unforgettable Games That You Have Ever Played
Well, the best games I've ever played would be:
Earth 2150
Commando
Counter-Strike
Doom 1,2 on Skulltag
All Half-Life games
Warzone 2100 (Of course)
Empire Earth 1, 2
Neverwinter Nights 1, 2
The Witcher 1, 2
Wolfenstein 3D (Back then it was beautiful)
Afraid of Monsters and Cry of Fear (These are not really games, but modifications for Half-Life 1, yet still the greatest horror modification-games ever made)

Re: Unforgettable Games That You Have Ever Played
OK - loads of obvious and great current titles so I'll toss out a few older, obscure ones ;c)
Apple II
Shard of Spring
Demon's Winter
The former was my introduction to rpg/ fantasy gaming - based on original D&D. The concept of a large world to explore while pursuing to fulfill a quest is just classic - particularly if you're young. Also plays better with the scratching sounds n beeps of the original machine ^_~ The later is the sequel.
Atari
Carrier Command - Good macro/ micro-management possibilities - and featured an element of customization. Wasn't perfect but was a classic.
BattleZone - Primitive tank warfare - not pretty but 3D and fun enough.
Pang - Addictive fun with popping bouncing balloons - pretty too.
Starfleet - Micromanaging a starship in hostile territory? Sure, why not?
-
If I were to mention a more modern game not yet mentioned I'd say Armoured Core. Greatly customizable and good game play even if not the easiest game to come to grips with.
If I were to mention a 2nd I'd say Star Ocean Story - It was a refreshing take on RPGs, more involving.

Re: Unforgettable Games That You Have Ever Played
Well I have to admit I do not know any of those titles, but it must be the case of platforms as I had only PS One, and PC in my life.
I wonder, the game Game of Thrones game ^^, if it will be very popular, due to the series.

Cave Story. Amazing indie game. And it also happens to be freeware.

Heh, yeah it's free. Also there is a version for those that care only about graphics that is for cash.E-102 Gamma wrote:Cave Story. Amazing indie game. And it also happens to be freeware.

Re: Unforgettable Games That You Have Ever Played
I have finished Bastion recently and this is great game with original level building process and as I said before great narrator, for example if you fall down into ditch few times, he says "the boy had bad day" or in previously described fortress, in the same sitation, "the place was well designed"
And the music is great too
