Where do save games go? (3.1 beta 11)

I'm testing out the new 3.1 beta, and would like to move the saved game from the campaign I'm on to another computer, where are they saved at? This doesn't tell me:

I've searched for .gam, .es, and savegame, none of them are in the beta folder. I've also searched for the saves by the names I specified, none found. Can someone post the path? Beta 11 doesn't appear to create a .warzone2100 hidden folder in my /home folder, which would make this easier.

Wait. You did "make install", didn't you?

I didn't do that. I only did ./autogen.sh && ./configure && make and I have to type ./src/warzone2100 in order to start the program in the folder that it's in. So the save game files are somewhere in that folder along with the sources and so forth.

For someone who has it self contained/non installed, where are the saves stored at?

The config is always in ~/.warzone2100-<version>, which gets created on the first run (unless you tell it to use another directory with --configdir).
