Yes I want to play Follow the Trail of Ichman ORGANS.......

Now I did play Oregon Trail, lost more partys then I wish to recall, and it was always to something dumb, that I doubt the real life people that did that hundred years or so ago never came across.

As for the Mac......

Mac: Hi I am a Mac

PC: Hi I am a PC

Mac: Today I am on a new iMac that features the 64-bit Core 2 Duo processor and lovely 24-inch displays.

PC: I to have a 64-Bit, but its a AMD Opteron 285 Italy 2.6GHz Dual Core Processor, and a lovely GeForce 8800Ultra 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express Video Card to give my Samsung 275T 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor the pristine color like nothing you have seen before. Plus do to the fact its has a response rate of 6ms it works fine with the thing I like to do best.

Mac: I to have a GeForce but its a 7600 GT with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM, and my 24" display has 12ms and works great when you’re surfing the web, editing video, managing photos, enjoying face-time with far-flung friends or watching movies, so why do you so much power ?

PC: I like to play games.

Mac: I see well I like to play games to I have Pong

PC: Didnt that come out in the 70's ?

Mac: Yes it did, but I have Plasma Pong.

PC: What about FPS, RTS, or MMORPG's dont you have anything you can go out and kill other people or build mass armys and then kill them, or go out and kill mobs and get to a high level so you can kill other players ?

Mac: Whats with all the killing, and what do all these acronym mean are they games ?

PC: Look here you dumbass n00b FPS means First Person Shooter, its were you and me go into a game and I come up with new ways to kill you after every respawn, and it looks like normal vision. Now RTS is Real Time Strategy thats a game were we both build armys to fight each other, and either I would Zerg Rush you or NUKE you into the stone age. As for MMORPG thats Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, now here you build a character up in level by hunting monsters in game either solo or with others in a party, and then if the game is good you get to kill other players once you got to a high enough level, and there can be thousands of people in game at one time, maybe even millions, and yes they all want to kill you.

Mac: I see, well you want to play a friendly game of Pong ?

PC: NO!!!!

Mac: What about Plasma Pong.

PC: How about you get a PC and I show you what GAMING is all about and see how many ways I can kill you in thousands of different games.

Mac: What would be the point of all that ?

PC: I rather not go to jail by killing you now.

Mac: OH

Darcius was in love with Ichman, and also was a lame GM in this game so needless to say I pested him as much as I could about that over the years. As for the MAC vs PC the person posting this topic wanted to know if he could play RYL on his MAC, and needless to say he could not.

the sad part is that powerpc macs are something on the order of 40% better for gaming than any pc-compatible/derived architecture given that powerpc has ridiculously low interrupt handling latencies... but yeah, if you want to calculate pi, or analyze seti signals, then x86 certainly has the most value.

Well thanks alot I am glad I got this on here because the forum I had put it on shut down the other day, something I knew was comming, but I tought that they would put it off till the end of the month, but oh well RYL is now a dead game for MMORPG's, I had a lot of fun times in there and will miss it.

Anyways I will work on a part 2 in the next week or so, do to the fact I have been seeing a lot of new PC vs MAC commercial and I got a few idea rolling around in my head, guess you will just have to wait and see how they turn out.

As for the MAC being better at gaming, I might agree with that if MAC had games to test there system specs vs a PC specs on a few different games till that happens I will stick to a PC.

that certainly is the barrier to entry.  and now it's a moot point now that apple has switched to intel processors to cut down on production costs.  id games are often good examples, and assuming equally capable gfx cards on both pc and mac, such games will tend to perform equally well on a modern pc and a 2 year old (equivalently priced processor for the time) powerpc mac.
