I've just revisited the first post on the first page of this topic and was shocked to see how many maps Mero has created. The list is almost as long as the number of Warzone releases since 1999 (that's a long list!). Great work Mero!

Yep, that is exactly why I always try to thank everyone, because it is easy to see (if you think about it) how much work you all have been putting into this game and I really appreciate it. I can't imagine how many hours of work it would come to overall, if each person submitted their total amount of hours they have spent on developing and improving WZ2100. :)

Hello Gentlemen :)

aubergine :)

Thank you very much, well I think nobody was ever so enthusiastic about a map of mine :3 And the starting positions was made this way to make it very easy to set two teams 2v2 or 3v3 or 4v4 in a fair way and not clicking and switching 99 times. Even if it is 3v3 game a maximum game for many, you simple turn off 3 and 4 base and you have clearly visible two teams in lobby. Also as they are mirrored partly in north and south placememnt it stops unfair advanced players from putting beginners on their side of a map as they often forget it goes partly mirrored.

noname1208 :)

Shall I be scared? :)

sg1efc :)

Thanx man :)

Yes I have to admit even I am positively surprised to see how many maps are there when I scroll within the post to edit and add new things :lecture:

Bye :)

The map is called Fierce SQR as it is really fierce Squared :)

It has the shape of the original one but here the similarity ends. On this one you can climb and build on every cliff around and within your base and also if you use VTOL transport you can built secondary bases outside the "Squared" area. The outside area has oil and many strategic points. At the corners of the map there is only oil accesible only by hovercraft.

Possibility to climb the cliffs give new offence and defence possibilities. You can even partly affect the centre from the safe place of the cliffs which belong to your base. The oil is spread so it is not so easy to get quickly all of it.

The map is 220x220, for eight players. 28 oils in base, by base I mean entire area of one's base, so it takes some time to collect it. there is 5 extra oils per player outside the squared area. Advanced bases are included and gateways are included. Visiting the highest cliffs at the centre, or the outside squared area will be rewarded in few precious oil barrels :lecture:

Have fun Gentlemen :)

No idea.
Merowingg,Your idea of a corridor around the outside area around the map incorporates a new way of strategy to make the game more interesting. I play just skirmish mode.
Again I congratulate you.

Hello Gentlemen :)

The map is called Tactical SQR because of few tactical options you can chose to use while playing it. It is the same as Fierce SQR with the two major differences :)

The first one is that the area outside the Squared Area is now accessible from back of each base, so as a result there are now two entrances to each base.

The second one is that the oil amount was reduced to 18 in base per player, and another five per player outside of the bases.

You can climb and build on every cliff around and within your base and you can built secondary bases outside the "Squared" area. The outside area has oil and many strategic points. At the corners of the map there is only one oil accesible only by hovercraft.

Possibility to climb the cliffs give new offence and defence possibilities. You can even partly affect the centre from the safe place of the cliffs which belong to your base. The oil is spread so it is not so easy to get quickly all of it.

Advanced bases are included and gateways are included. Visiting the highest cliffs at the centre, or the outside squared area will be rewarded in few precious oil barrels :lecture:

If you happen to like the map I can make the oil amount even smaller in accordance to your wishes.

Have fun Gentlemen :)

Hello Gentlemen :)

I assume I am heading this squared fascination again ;)

The map is called Sunny, because it reminds me of the sun, and for sure it is sunny on this Squared :3

The map is for eight players, twenty four oils per player in base and another three per player on the cliffs. Advanced bases with the simplest defences and gateways are included.

I wanted something like Squared but simplified.. and here it is.

Have fun and don't get burned.

Thanks Mero. :)

How about a map that looks like a triangle? And the center of the map, there is nothing there, maybe a completely empty area that can not be crossed by land, sea or air. :hmm:

There is an octagon amidst the squares :3
