It is difficult to know if somebody is joking in a forum...
That is because:

1.) You do not know me, so you do not know that I like to joke around.
2.) Everyone at this forum plays the "war game" called Warzone 2100, and a lot of us seem to carry over the in-game aggression, into forum posts. :hmm:

I don't know that for sure, but one thing I do know for certain Berg: Your armed forces are serving overseas, making sacrifices like our other allies and I for one appreciate Australia, as well as all our other allies. 8) What do you think of the military buildup going on in Australia with our U.S. forces?

Nah, this is the Thank or Not To Thank thread and I thereby chose to Thank your Armed Forces, so it's still on topic. :)

Anyway, why did you post:
Berg wrote:I never joke!!!!
in this thread, is it on topic? O_o
You can blame Mero for wanting me to make more posts here, it's all his fault. :P

PS - It is ok to joke around, at least in my threads and in replies to any of my posts. And joking around in this forum is obviously allowed...., I mean, just Look at some of these smilies. If these aren't joking around smilies, I don't know what are:

:P :lol2: :augh: :ninja: and did you know that there are actually 9 Pages of smilies that we can choose from?! :yahoo: :cool1:  :lachen: :rofl2: :wheee:

Are you sure? :hmm: Because I'm not sure if you are sure that you were joking. :hmm:
Mero, please help me out, what do you think? Should I be sure that Berg is sure that he was joking? Or does Berg just want me to think that he was joking because he's up to something? Maybe Berg is trying to confuse me and distract me as he engages his LSAT and blows up my command center? O_o Or maybe Berg just thinks that he was joking but he was really not joking because he never jokes? :?

I wish the programs I use will work on Linux. They all need win32 and there is no alternative. Even wine is not so good

Which programs won't work in Linux? Maybe PC-BSD has FreeBSD ports of them? :)

Ok, I just changed the title of this thread to:
"To Thank or Not To Thank, or talk about anything else LoL!"

So feel free to talk about anything on or off topic.

sg1efc I think the previous topis was just perfect.

Do not change your ideas under pressure of others if you believe they are right.

Joking or not, ianpropriate ot not, important or not, pointless or not, this topic was/is dealing with something very important.

I think you should go back to what is was.

Nope. ;)

I for one enjoy being able to talk about a fun variety of topics, in a non-technical thread. :)

So everyone can talk about Thanking or Not Thanking, or anything else in this thread. I am an informal person. :P
