btw dont u wish you could play as the scavs?
I already have some idea for a multiplayer-balanced play-as-scavengers mod, which might turn into a simple warcraft-style game with fixed designs and minimal (probably empty) tech tree. Might probably be fun (:

Also, on this single-player map, you have scavengers as allies.

And another thing, i was wondering does this mod work in campainge? if so do the scavs auto start with the ability to build chopers? and is there a way to use that tech(to a limited degre) for you base defence's?

Emm no / not yet / i'd not rather not try to mess with wzscript, in which the campaign is still written, re-doing all the work for very little benefit isn't worth it.

Also, when i use the Switch to player cheat, and i switch the the scavs, it not only prevents me from using the other cheat to place units and buildings, but it wont lemy manufacture any thing. is this on purpose, or is this a simple glitch on my part?

This is more a question for game coders but its not just your system it happens to me also you might need to ask the dev team to add scavs as playablle faction. :) One can only hope it happens soon.

About placing units and buildings, that doesn't work because it is a bug of the DEBUG mode. About not being able to manufacture, I have no idea.

i can play the scavs w/o this mod, at least in the last version of wz i was using,(havent tested it with this one yet), i only tried with the mod active.

and when i playing in my players position, i can play buildings just fine, its only when i switch to scavs.

hey,

what do i do wrong? i can play any map but the scavenger dont really build something. what exactly is needed? which version? campaign or multipalyer? which map?

skirmish/multiplayer, 3.1+, pick any map with scavenger bases present on it and turn them on in your game.

mmmhhhh i downloaded the new 3.1 beta 10 and put the mod into /mods/multiplayer. now the scaneger are building beside the tricke and the footsoldiers the atilliery truck and the machingun druck. but no crane and no new scavengers.

oh god its a really long time since i palyed wz2100 lasttime XD. thats was the problem, i just put it into the multiplayer mod folder without ctually starting it -.- . thank you XD

hey, is it possible to combine this mod with another. the mod just change the scanevger right? so another mod which just change player tech, could work with it?
