While hosting, On a Fiber Optic ethernet connection, on 4v4, my laptop begins to slowly fade. eventually causing computer to become completely un-usable including contral alt delete.
I ran virus check= none
I defragged HD.
Fresh Install of windows xp.
2.0ghz cpu
1g ram
64mb video
I know those stats are from 2005, but I still cant put my finger on why Warzone comes to a halt.

Which version of game are you running (2.3.9, 3.1 betas, other)?

Yeah, that's most likely one of the network hangs of the old 2.3 netcode.
Might be an overheat though (tried checking out CPU/GPU temperature?)

If you can't even do ctrl-alt-del, then you have hard locked, and warzone itself can't do that. Only drivers can do that (as well as heat related issue that lockup the CPU).
