PLAYING PROBLEM
I have installed version 2.3.9, when i load the game to play it goes to the main menu, i then select single player, the loading bar appears on the bottom of the screen, once it has loaded the loading screen remains but the game has started, i can selct units & hear the sound effects/audio, but all i can see is the loading screen extremely frustrating as i remember playing this when i was younger and was really looking forward to reliving some glorious memories....
if some one could help me and assist me in resolving this issue...

What video card do you have ?
You just go to Nvidia's or AMD/ATI's or intel's web site, and download the driver for it.
You didn't say what kind of system you have, so can't help anymore than that.

windows vista, toshiba satellite p100
ive checked the card its intel but it seems updates are no free for me...
time to upgrade i think...

toshiba has a lot of variant with same 'p100' but different spec, ithink you should head to toshiba and download your driver. since toshiba has their own driver.
