Before I learnt the hit & run tactic, my hovers used to get slaughtered faster than wheels. I could be wrong though, I'm no expert at the game so would appreciate any additional feedback on this matter. Maybe it should just say "Speed is their greatest attribute"?

Say aubergine, I noticed in your video that you said that hovercraft were weaker in HP than Wheeled vehicles, when in fact, they have more HP than Wheels. They are more expensive of course.

Your cinnematic work is well done. :)

We wanted to use Machima technique for the cut-scenes in Goth's CAM 4 but we hit an impasse on the WIN platform in that the very best prog for the job makes use of DX capture in the buffers before screen render and WZ, as we all know is OpenGL based. :(

A lot of hard work goes into what your doing but I also feel the joy of it. :)

Thanks. I've got a few pages added to my tutorial about how I created the video and some of it's effects now: https://warzone.atlassian.net/wiki/disp ... ng+Effects -- Hopefully that will grow in to a useful guide for anyone else wanting to make this sort of video and take some of the guesswork out of the equation (I've had to learn lots of stuff by trial and error so hopefully the tuts will save someone some time).

Cool. I'm sure it will be very helpful. :)

The best propulsion to choose depends of the map.
So it shouldn 't say that.

Well, I'm not sure. I still feel that hovercraft are best propulsion for trucks and missile tanks. As NoQ pointed out, they are also useful for MGs when confronted with flamer cyborg spamming. I'm not sure map type would have much of an affect on those types of scenarios?

I've been playing a much wider variety of maps recently and I've yet to find a disadvantage for using hovers in those scenarios.

I mean that if you use hover in little maps, like rush.
But using hover for trucks is always good.

...unless you're using some to maintain a line of defenses, in which case, more durable propulsion types, such as Tracks, would often be more important over speed.

... unless you have them set to return for repairs at medium damage and have set the local repair facility rally point to near the defences they were maintaining ;)

Well, hovercraft is good enough to finish campaign using it exclusively after it gets researched, although it would be much harder to avoid casualties (I doubt if I've managed to avoid losses that time...). But I'm not sure if stats are enough similar between campaign and MP anyway.
