I have found out where the issue with the night/day comes from. I think the scroll limits are fixed on the map. I tried to add a completely new map on an away mission, a map much bigger then the standard one and the issue did not appear. This means the reason why I opened this thread is not ok anymo...

I hate what you did with away missions! You made reinforcement arrival times waaaay too long. They were fine as they were. This to make missions harder, if you get reinforcements quicker the missions are far too easy. Also, instead of going step forward and removing need for boring returning to LZ,...
