Clan war

This is still a vague idea, but here is what I had in mind recently :

Each player enter the game with 2 maps of his choice in his possession. Like a trading card game.

Each player have a maximum of 5 action points. He recover 1 each [72 ?] hours.

Attacking a map cost 2 points per players and defending a map cost 1 point.

The players can of course join a clan and defend their maps together or ask any friend they want.

The attacker declare the invasion time [some days ?] in advance. Then that player or the clan leader must decide which players they will send there. If any.

The official goal would be to conquer all the maps, but the rules as I state it would make it close to impossible to ever achieve it. So the meta-game would be for a given clan to control as much map as possible and try to collect their favorite :)

The game would be purely friendly with no much officials or control but just for a bit of fun.

My chances to participate (alone; i'm allergic to clans) depend on this "[some days]" parameter. I'm unlikely to hold my ground if i just don't get to play every day. But don't base your decision on me, lets see what other people think (:

Hey, I really like this idea. I would participate if I could join a clan. Then again, I just started playing. Maybe in the future. :wink:

The problem is that we might declare an attack at any time of the day. We must set that so it look lively with lot of action. It must look fluid. Can't you join an anticlanic guild ? lol.

Or maybe I could do 2 pts to defend and 3 pts to attack ? So you would have some hope to mostly attack and defend only when you are free ? I don't know... all this is just me thinking aloud for now :D .

But what happens with scavs? The map you choose has to be with or without scavs? Or do they have to be disabled? :hmm:

I guess we gonna have no base and T1 as default

But for the scavs, the owner of the map should decide when he aquire the map ?

If I understand correctly, it's like "capture the flag" only by winning a map you "capture the map" from the clan who currently owns it?

Sounds a neat idea.

BTW, is there a list of active clans anywhere? I'd like to list active clans on wzpedia. PM me if you know names / urls for active clans, and I'll add to list.
