There ya go. I'll attach the rest of the custom ones for Arizona if you like.

I'd sure love to get a step-by-step on how to get extra textures onto a map.

I am still of the opinion that the best way would be to change the map stuff in the engine itself so that all are loaded. It's not like we'd run out of texture memory with today's graphics cards. *shrug*

Thanks!
You mean like increase a number of different terrain textures that can be used on a map? I can write a tutorial (:

Thanks Aubergine. :D We aim to please!

I've just submitted an idea in the Coding subforum that might actually be possible to pull off, in the 'Tilesets at Once' thread. Maybe the Dev team can make it work that way.

Same issue as before. Can't modify the .ttp file (which is how FlaME loads tiles in a set) because it's encoded.

Does ANYONE know WHY it was necessary to change to an encrypted tile types format in the first place? I used to be able to change the old way (.pcx tiles and .ett for types, plain text) and this is really starting to annoy me now.

IMHO there's no need to encrypt anything in an open source game. Even save game files should be unencrypted IMHO. If people want to cheat they can just download source, modify it and bypass encryption anyway, so it seems the encryption only serves to make the game harder to mod.

If it was done to prevent cheating (my first thought), then that's fine and totally understandable.

Looks like some changes to FlaME are needed. I'll state what I think is needed and ask Flail what he thinks can be done.

No, I'm not sure, to be honest. :lol2: All I know is I can't edit it, and I've no idea what encoding it is.

I'm pretty sure it is not encrypted... I don't recall if/when/how/why it was changed, though.

Hi,

Are these the tilesets from the recent download link you posted?

Is the "Alaska" tileset the one with green grass? What name would you give to the Arizona one?

I'm updating the tileset page in the wiki: https://warzone.atlassian.net/wiki/disp ... n+Tilesets
