I know I briefly posted/lurked here for a bit (As should be obvious by my join date), but I don't recall ever being remotely active development wise over the past half decade. Then again, I do recall joining a WZ related IRC channel Was somewhat recently...
You joined here in '08 and posted the first time Strata showed up.

Then in '09 on the 2200 IRC channel - we had a seperate web site. We didn't conduct anything here because many percieved it as advertising for a competitor.

Understand and appreciate that disposition. But here, they mostly donot have a clue about anything pre-lib or about the lib process itself for that matter or the connections... so I state the history matter of factly for that reason & because it wasn't an abraccadabra wave of the hands and presto-chango an idea popped into someones head in the winter of 2004 and lo and behold the WZ source was of a sudden liberated as if by magic... and many arrived for the first time after all the initial "heavy lifting" was done to make that event happen.

We had our chorus of naysayers about liberating the source. "Rman your wasting your time it's never gonna happen. You are ALL wasting your time...!!!!!" Blah-blah-blah. But here's the irony. One of those naysayers, one of the biggest in fact, is on the Credits page for this project. Cracks me up everytime I see it. I'll give him this, he's a masterful networker on the IRC channel when it comes to looking after his own self-interests. Naturally he didn't cotton to this recounting. Heh.

Oh, and I definitely showed my age at times, trust me on that ;)
"Camel floshing"...... "Mrs. Silverbolt - please help me find my son"..... "Area 51" ...... "Scully and Muldur to the rescue"..... ring a bell.. ?

I know when you showed your age, at least during the early Pumpkin era. Usually when we got together with zipper, Mistafalls aka Misty, Sputty aka Sputnick, Carver and SLONNER on ICQ to brainstorm RTS "Think Tanker" notions pre-NEWST... Like the hilarious "Fish Fightin' RTS". ;)

I don't have a photographic memory but it's still pretty descent, even after all these years mainly because of my training in mneumonic techniques way back in the day before search engines on the NET.. that would be ARPANET. :3

- Cheers, Rman. :)
